This was a cake for a very special lady, our Aunt Fran Wiley Hamilton, who turned 90 this year. We had an awesome party for her with all the family and friends, even some classmates from 1939, Manatee High School. She had said if she had a party, she wanted games, so we created a Scrabble Game Cake - hummingbird flavor and cream cheese frosting, then covered w/ fondant, we made a vintage game with tiles for all the players that said " beautiful, family, caring , ninety. She loves humming birds so we Sculpted a cake into a vase that would hold sculpted gumpaste flowers. We also sculpted a hummingbird for the vase next to a gumpaste flower. All were edible except wires that held flowers in vase. This cake flavor was vanilla w buttercream, covered with antique satin fondant. She also had a rubics cube cake which was also hummingbird cake flavor. We so enjoyed creating all these cakes for Aunt Fran and wish her a great year. Love ya Aunt Fran!
