Rustic Vintage Ruffle Doily Lace Wedding Cake / Vintage sculpted Luggage Grooms Cake

This time we created cakes for Amber's Wedding

Amber (Pastry Chef / Sweet T's cake design) was creating her very own Wedding Cake.
She created rustic ruffles on the top and bottom tier.  Center tier resembled vintage lace design from a doily.
Hand sculpted roses and orchids for the top and side of cake.
She chose a vintage wood cheese box to place the cake on.
Amber customized the cheese box by painting
"Love is Sweet" on the front of the cake stand.
The Wedding Cake Table was placed on a table created by Amber and Don (her Dad) from pallet wood and from a recycled stand.  Stand was also used as their Unity Sand Table during ceremony.

Flavors:

The top tier was Caramel Apple / Vanilla Spice Cake

Second Tier :  Chocolate Spice Cake / Chocolate Ganache

Bottom Tier :  Chocolate Cake / Turtle Filling - Salted Caramel & Pecans

Grand Seahorse Baby Shower Cake

Congratulations to the Azinger & Collins Family!

Amber and I always enjoy creating Baby Shower Cakes.  So sweet and cute.   We created a  Grand Seahorse Themed Baby Shower Center Piece Cake to be used as the center of a buffet table for a beautiful celebration today.

We hand sculpted a seahorse cake topper with a pearl in a clam shell to sit on top of this three tier cake.  Pink buttercream with white chocolate coral was designed on the sides of the top tier.

Sitting along the side of the middle tier was a hand sculpted snail and starfish.  An Ombre design of watermelon pink and coral pink fish scales were created to cover the two 8 inch round cakes.  The adorable octopus and sea shells sat at the bottom edge of the middle tier.

The bottom tier was created with fondant ruffles to resemble the gentle waves.  A small starfish was riding the waves on the side of the bottom tier.

Cake Flavors:
6 in round Top Tier: Maple Bourbon Sweet Potato Cake
Two 8 in round Middle Tier:  Coconut Dream
10 inch Bottom Tier:  Peanut Butter Proposal Chocolate Cake

To accomodate a party of 75 plus
