Fathers Day Cake by Taylor

Today my Granddaughter Taylor wanted to create a cake for her Daddy (Cory) for Fathers Day.  She decided to create a grill cake for him with food that looks like what they create at their home together.  She says her Daddy is the best cook and griller.

Awesome job Taylor, this is your first sculpted cake for your Dad.  Since they would be celebrating Fathers Day tonight he called to see what she would like on the grill for the celebration.   When finished talking to her Dad, she looked at me and said "Daddy's grilling tonight, my cake will be perfect tonight.  With a huge smile."  What a great gift to make your Daddy, Taylor.  Gifts made with that much love are always the best.

Rustic Wedding Cake - centerpieces

Rustic Wedding Cake - 2 Dove hand sculpted surrounded by hand sculpted orchids in champagne, blush and bronze highlights, grapevine around border of cake, sitting on a wood cake stand.  Cake was a chocolate rush - chocolate cake/chocolate ganache/ buttercream.  Wedding Party's Cake was a 10in round, guest tables at the reception each had a centerpiece cake with three flowers that matched the main Wedding Parties Cake Flowers which sat on a wood slab.  Cake flavors for the guest were Red Velvet/cream cheese filling, Chocolate Rush Cake and Chocolate Cake w/ vanilla pastry cream all were covered in a rough coat of  buttercream.  A total of 9 cakes were placed throughout the reception at the Fete Catering and Ballroom, Lakewood Ranch.  Congrats to Rachelle and Derek!

Noah's Ark Baby Shower Cake

  Noah's Ark Sculpted Baby Shower Cake - serve 40  - vanilla cake layer/ chocolate ganache/ chocolate cake - hand sculpted animals from fondant, sculpted cake in the shape of a ark.  wood planks and cedar shingles also from fondant.  Base board covered in fondant, water swirls w/ 2 whales in water.  This cake went to Lakeland Florida.

Christening Cake -Angels, Bible and Cross

Kelton, Kristi Mathis and her husbands son and Sylvia Woods grandson is being Christened today.  Very special day for him and his family.  We created a cake that  we hand sculpted  two angels praying w/ Holy Bible and the Cross   Little rope border with lasso on edge of cake.  The saying on the cake was created by Sylvia for her Grandson " Kelton came from up above just for all of us to love."  Cake flavor was vanilla w/ vanilla pastry cream, buttercream.  This cake was delivered to Lake Wales.   Kristi send us a picture of your son would love to see him.  Congrats on your beautiful son.
