This week we created a very special birthday cake for a very special girl
"Gracie"
We have made cakes for her since her 1st birthday. This year she turned 8yrs old.
She moved this last fall to Arkansas and we miss her bunches here in Florida.
Well they say if theres a will theres a way. Nana found a way to celebrate with Gracie.

Jason - Gracie Dad heads to meet UPS Driver
Step 21
Dad lets them know cake is on its way soon to be to Gracie!
Yes at this point were all like little kids at Christmas - cant wait to open cake box to see what shape the cake is in.
Yes its still in a shape of a cake.!
Step 22
Only a few damages. Most likely it was on its side for a while
fondant slide on the top some and cake slide on cake board some.
But all and all Gracie's Pool party cake did great.
On top of the cake where the fondant slid it made some wrinkles and where my dowel rods to keep it secure were removed would need some repair.
We sent some extra fondant for Gracie to help repair if necessary.
Gracie always loved to play with some fondant as much as she loved to eat it.
So seeing Gracie with her birthday cake
with her beautiful smile
Priceless - this is why this cake was priceless
Happy Birthday Gracie!
We wish you an awesome 8th Birthday! Love you lots!
Thank you to UPS -for getting it there the next day
Thank you to Jason for driving to meet UPS to help get the cake home quicker!
Thanks for prayers answered - the cake made it thru airport - conveyor belts - and many handling the box Wow!
We did it Gracie!
