We created a Third Birthday Cake and matching Cupcakes for Lauren, she turned three years old. We wish you a very Happy Birthday Lauren! This was another fun cake to create. Her mom had the Mermaid topper along with a fish and crab. We created all the sea grass, sea shells, the dingle hopper to comb hair with ( fork), the star fish name emblem, coral, sponges and fish were sculpted out of fondant to add to the under the sea theme. All edible. The matching cupcakes also had edible sea grass w/ swimming fish to resemble the water around the mermaid cake. Edible sand (sugar) surrounded the Mermaid like she was at the bottom of the sea. The cupcakes were to be served to the children at the party. Fresh Strawberries were used to make strawberry cupcakes, vanilla blue buttercream swirled for the look of the water. Square 8 inch almond cake, almond mousse filling, blue vanilla buttercream was served to the adults at the birthday party. Great summer cake flavors.
