Art Teacher's sculpted Coffee Can Paint Brush Holder Birthday Cake
This birthday cake was for a former art teacher at PHS retired in 1989, Nancy McGinn. We created a cake that look like her coffee can she used for years that held their paint brushes in class. Her party was held at the Palmetto Art Center Studio. The cake was sculpted from chocolate cake w/ chocolate ganache, covered in marshmallow fondant. Hand sculpted paint brushes, art palette and acrylic tube of paint, on a cake base board also covered w/ fondant to resemble the students art table at school, wood grain and distressed marks from years of students creating art. Coffee beans and ladle were hand painted on, edible maxwell house label printed. We wish you a very Happy Birthday!
