Congratulations Ashley Perkins! Wishing you a great future. Today we created a Celebration Cake for Ashley. We created a cake that would be bright, colorful and to match her partyware. Michelle had paper lanterns from Ikea in bright colors to decorate the party, so we also created paper lanterns out of fondant on spiral wires to match her lanterns to be placed on table for deco around cake. Also some spiral fondant for curly cues or the streamer effect. The cake topper we created from wires and colorful circles of fondant to represent the celebration of streamers. Fondant 2012 was created from fondant with fondant graffiti on the top of the cake. The name plaque for Ashley was created from Electric Green Fondant. Many circles of fondant of many colors decorated the sides of the cake to match the partyware like picture below. We hope you enjoyed your cake and party. We wish you the best.
